Quitando el Bip de la Consola
Para quitar el “bip” de la consola, basta con ejectuar xset -b y si quieres volver a restablecerlo (uno nunca sabe), basta con ejecutar xset +b.
En mi caso, era Xterm y Pidgin que daban ese sonido cuando intentaba hacer algo no permitido o para responder a un evento.
